Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE at The St. Regis Aspen Resort portrays a sophisticated collaboration of two iconic brands. These discerning brands, along with ownership group OptAsia Capital, will combine to craft a signature dining experience that will literally bring the pages of FOOD & WINE to life. The noteworthy talent will create a beyond expectation food and beverage experience highlighting the culinary arts and their first hand knowledge from around the globe.

For the last 23 years, the signature FOOD & WINE Best New Chefs issue has unveiled some of the preeminent talent of the epicurean world like Thomas Keller, Tom Colicchio and Daniel Boulud. These visionary chefs have shaped the culinary arts and made an indelible impact on the restaurant world.

Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE will be the stage for the winners of the "Best New Chef" award to showcase their culinary knowledge, technique and style. Each year, FOOD & WINE will select four to eight "Best New Chefs" from recent years to consult and create new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team at The St. Regis Aspen Resort. The chefs selected to inaugurate the menu in the Summer of 2012 were: Chef James Lewis of Bettola, Chef George Mendes of ALDEA, Chef Alex Seidel of Fruition, and Chef Susan Zemanick of Gautreau's Restaurant. The chefs selected to collaborate on the new menu for the winter of 2012/2013 are Matt Lightner of Atera in New York City; Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern & Noodlecat in Cleveland, Ohio; Kevin Willmann of Farmhaus in Saint Louis, Mo.; & Jenn Louis of Lincoln Restaurant & Sunshine Tavern in Portland, Ore..

The restaurant's two million dollar build-out features designs by Rottet Studio inviting guests to delight in some of the world's best dishes in style. Experience the preparation first-hand at the chef's table or enjoy a more intimate meal in one of the private dining areas. Be captivated by the mountain landscape in the courtyard and enjoy a bottle of hand selected wine from the custom wine wall. The casual, approachable atmosphere of the restaurant epitomizes the iconic Aspen environment.
